Badmouth – Heavy Metal Parking Lot

Badmouth is not a new band, actually they have been around since 2007 when Chris LeMon (Bass) and Mike Hill (Rhythm Guitar) had the marvelous idea to take things in a more serious direction. After some line up changes, a self titled debut back in 2008 and numerous gigs with acts like Kingdom Come, LA Guns, Pretty Boy Floyd, Sator and Zodiac Mindwarp they are releasing their second “Heavy Metal Parking Lot” album, in 2011, with producer Chips Kiesbye (Hellacopters, Sahara Hotnights). Bango Tango – Pistol Whipped In The Bible Belt

They never were among my favorite acts, although I have to admit that they were far from an average band. The sad thing with Bang Tango was that despite having what needed to succeed they kinda end up in the scene a little bit to late (1987, debut album 1989). On the other hand they couldn’t have known. The band delivers a very simplistic, radio friendly, American influenced punk rock n roll filled with shouting vocals, some catchy pop melodies Continue reading »

Beggars and Thieves – We Are The BrokenHearted

Beggars & Thieves are one of those cases back in the 90′s that had the misfortune to start their musical career in a period when sleaze was dead, or rapidly dying and grunge was hotter than hell. They managed to release their debut album [Beggars & Thieves (1990)] on a big label (Atlantic) but soon after that they moved to Epic from where they were dropped for the reason stated above. Hell In The Club – Let The Games Begin

Italy is best known for pasta and pizza (and ancient Roman civilization, culture, architecture and bla bla) but for sure isn’t best known for sleazy, hard rock bands. Things are about to change though as Hell In The Club and there debut album “Let The Games Begin” are now among us. I don’t really know when exactly “Hell In The Club” were formed – all I know is that members of two different Italian bands (Elvenking and Secret Sphere) got together and formed this incredible band.
